Camp Curiosity Youth Ambassadors for Education -Volunteer
Camp Curiosity Youth Ambassador for Education (Y.A.E) Department: Education Rate: Unpaid volunteer (community service hours provided) Camp Curiosity is held at an off-site location (Ron Ehmann Park). Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation to and from the camp site. Summary The Youth Ambassadors for Education (Y.A.E.) is coming to South Dade! This summer, teens aged 16-19 can earn their community service hours, gain leadership skills, and learn the ins and outs of informal science education at Frost Science’s new off-site camp: Camp Curiosity! Camp Curiosity Y.A.E.s will work alongside Frost Science educators to support engaging STEM-themed programming for youth ages 5–9 under the direct supervision of Frost Science staff. This is a competitive program with limited availability. Students who are interested in the program must undergo an application and interview process and have parent/guardian consent. Students must be present at Camp Curiosity, located at Ron Ehmann Park at 10995 SW 97 Avenue, Miami, FL 33176. Schedule Requirements:
